I frankly expected Belgrade to be somewhat similar to other western capitals for what it concerns development or (lack of) decay, but I was wrong. In many ways it felt like a place frozen in time to 50 years ago, weird to think that cities like this exist in the heart of Europe.
This is not to say I didn't enjoy visiting, it was beautiful in its own "brutal" way. The Temple of Saint Sava was by far the most impressive thing I've seen there. Zepter Museum was really nice too.
